Shawna Ristic

When Shawna Ristic was 19, she had a catastrophic car accident that changed the course of her life. For several weeks, she was in a coma and had a near-death experience (NDE). During her NDE, she met a group of light filled beings that she has come to know as The Council.  With their guidance, she chose to return to life and awakened knowing that love is the fabric of everything and the essence of each of us.  She became aware that her purpose is to help people heal and move closer to their essence.  Over the years, her gift for healing and intuitive awareness has evolved in ways that amaze and transform her and her clients as she continues to tap the insights and the guidance first encountered during her NDE.

It has taken Shawna nearly 20 years to integrate her experience and the messages she received.  She continues to work with The Council through meditation, automatic writing and channeling and during private sessions with clients.   She works individually with people in her private office and by Skype and phone.  Two years ago, a chance meeting brought her and her family to Santa Cruz where she began opening about her NDE. She now feels ready to talk openly about it and the realizations it has brought to her life.

Shawna is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork since 1998, is a California Certified Massage Therapist and has completed multiple trainings in massage, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Neuromobilization, anatomy and psycho-somatic processing techniques.  She also received a B.A. in French from the University of Kansas and an M.A. in communication from l’Université Paul Valèry, Montpellier III, France.  Shawna carries vibrations of non-judgmental honesty, elevating that which is pulling a person to a higher place.  For more than twenty years, she has worked hands-on and intuitively helping people through their life transitions, reframe their experiences, realign their bodies, find relief from pain and reconnect with their essence.  She offers sessions in Los Gatos and Santa Cruz and travels nationally working with individuals, speaking to groups and teaching.
