Rich Ferguson – A Biography

 

 

Richard is the author of the autobiographical book A Real Life Christian Spiritual Journey. He is a pastoral minister, a Reiki Master, and a commercial pilot since the age of 19. Richard gave a stirring presentation, sometimes emotional, detailing his ability to directly experience God.

At the time of the presentation, Richard was 63 years old.  He had three children. One daughter was teaching fifth grade at St. Justin’s Parrish Elementary School in Santa Clara, California. His other daughter was finishing up her Masters Degree in Education and will also teach elementary school. His son is an insurance professional. Richard has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area area since 1959 after moving from Chicago. His family moved due his own serious illnesses, as the doctors advised a change of climate for his health.

Richard has a BS Degree in Chemistry, a Masters Degree in Business and a Masters Degree in Pastoral Ministry, all from Santa Clara University.

During college he worked for IBM in the computer service area.  He worked for NASA out of college for three years studying upper atmospheric extraterrestrial dust particles. After that, he worked in real estate then spent 30 years working for Hewlett Packard in various marketing roles, and ended his career by retiring from corporate marketing.  Richard had been married for thirty eight years but lost his wife to cancer in Feb 2009 after a five year battle.

Richard had his first real mystical experience on an airplane when he was about 25 years old over the Pacific Ocean. Since then he has been unable to count them accurately because they have been too numerous and and too spread throughout the years.  However most of his mystical experiences have occurred during the last fifteen years or so.

Rich is the author of  A Real Life Christian Spiritual Journey. It was published in 2010 and is available online. The link at Amazon is here. Some of his mystical experiences are documented in this book including some that were not discussed at the meeting. His personal ministry is one of healing, both emotional and spiritual.
