P.M.H. Atwater

PMH Atwater is  the most prolific writer and most active researcher since the creation of the field of Near-Death Studies. Her web site is spectacular, and you should visit it if only to get the idea of the breadth and depth of her studies. Having endured 3  NDEs herself, her research does not stop at the subject of NDEs. An international authority on near-death states, Dr. Atwater uses the fruits of her research to establish that the near-death phenomenon is not some kind of anomaly, but is rather part of the larger genre of transformations of consciousness. She combines her 33 years of near-death research with what she was doing in the 60s and 70s, experiencing, experimenting with, and researching altered states of consciousness, mysticism, psychic phenomena, and the transformational process, to reveal what transformations of consciousness really are, why we have them, and where they lead us. This lifetime endeavor covers over 43 years of work, involving nearly 7,000 people. Her meticulous and unique protocol gives validity to what she has discovered and verified, and to the link that can be made between what is happening in the Middle East and the percentage worldwide of people who have undergone near-death experiences. A tipping point has been reached, a shared reality has emerged. . . for a leaderless, global, revolution in consciousness!

13 of her books are found here, at Amazon. These are the ones in print.

        Martha St. Claire

Martha St. Claire was hoping for a day of fun with her boyfriend when she journeyed to the Sacramento River delta in 1974.  Instead, she nearly drowned and traveled to the light, which she calls “just the best thing that ever happened to me.” She’ll share her story with us at this month’s IANDS meeting.

Martha’s NDE in the delta involved going through a tunnel and meeting a guide, someone she had previously encountered.  Martha also received prophetic visions of the future, some of which are in the midst of happening. Given the choice, she chose to come back.  “I have no fear of death,” she says. Of her NDE, she says, “It connected me to the divine. It helped me see that there is a higher purpose in everything we go through. There really is a divine order to our lives on earth, and we each have chosen to be here.”

Martha Cassandra St. Claire, M.A., (formerly Cassandra Musgrave), is an NDE speaker and educator, gerontologist, counselor, angelic messenger, spiritual medium, energetic healer, and pet communicator. She has been trained as a Unity minister, licensed for assisted living administration, and was a certified hospice volunteer.

Martha aligns with divine love and wisdom within, through using intuition, gifts of the spirit, prayer, and ritual, to assist in healing others in their everyday lives. Under the direction of her Higher Divine Self, spirit guides and angels, she offers inspired, practical guidance for the here and now, and also focuses on end of life, death, the after-life, and multi-dimensional realities. Her purpose is to awaken soul memory and divine consciousness within, vanquish any fear of death, and to work in community to accelerate and co-create Heaven on Earth. Her web site is
www.marthastclaire.com

She has served on the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) Board of Directors (2001-2003), working as the Friends of IANDS (FOI) International Chapter Coordinator. Her NDE research was published in, The Journal of Near-Death Studies (Volume 15, No. 3, Spring, 1997).

Aspects of Martha’s career, and her personal near-death experiences have been featured on Portland’s AM Northwest, Portland’s News Channel 8, Oregon’s News Channel 12, Ancient Prophecies III (NBC), The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, Life After Death (Vision TV, Canada), and on Austin’s KVET radio.

Written articles and reference sources for Martha’s work include: Sioux Falls Argus Leader; Cats Magazine; Cosmopolitan Magazine; Esquire; Light of the Dawn Newsletter (Japan); The Uniguidance Newsletter (FOUG); Lessons from the Light  by Dr. Kenneth Ring & Evelyn Elsaesser Valarino, The Paranormal Sourcebook  by Charles E. Sellier & Joseph Meier, Esquire Presents: What it Feels Like by A.J. Jacobs, The Handbook of Near-Death Experiences: Thirty Years of Investigation by Janice Holden, Bruce Greyson, and Debbie James,  Visits from Heaven by Josie Varga, and the recent film Afterlife, by best-selling author Paul Perry, with Dr. Raymond Moody and Dr. Jeff Long (2011).

Please welcome Martha St. Claire as our guest lecturer!

What is it like to meet God?

Paul Robb is an Optical Engineer and Author who spent 40 years in the Aerospace Industry.  When he was 27 years old, God appeared to him face to face and showed Paul what he is like, overwhelming him with his kindness and love.  This led Paul to collect stories written by others who have had similar experiences.  The result is the book The Kindness of God: How God Cares for Us, a collection of more than 100 of these personal accounts.

Paul will describe the experiences he has had during the past forty years, with God as Father and God as Mother.  He will also describe the work he has been doing for the past five years, working with God and a group of Angels to rescue lost souls.

Biography

Paul is a husband and father.  He has five children and five grandchildren, and he lives with his wife and young son in Sunnyvale, California. He is a member of the Unity Community Church in San Jose.  Professionally, he is an Optical Engineer, and spent 39 years in the Aerospace Industry working for Eastman Kodak and Lockheed Martin.

winterscene 150x112

HAPPY HOLIDAY !

Happy holidays to all. We had our pot-luck last week, and it was great. 29 people showed up! A lot of good food was to be eaten, ethnic and not, but more important was the good socialization. Thanks to all who came. Everyone seemed to enjoy the 2 hours, and I enjoyed getting to know our members much better. I’ll see you on January 25th, and until then, have a great holiday. We will have a great speaker in January (Luis Minero, on the 4th Tuesday as usual) and you can read about him on this web site.

Love and peace to all,

John

Tuesday November 22 at 7:30 – Julia Assante, Ph.D.

Julia Assante lives in Germany. She traveled to California to visit family and to speak at IANDS groups. We were very lucky that she said “YES” when I asked if she could be a guest speaker at SBIANDS! Her talk was awesome, and about two-thirds of the attendees stayed beyond the meeting close time (11:00 PM).  She is a psychic and an academician who is well versed in not only in the first languages ever written (Sumerian and Akkadian – which were  both cuneiform languages, in other words, similar to those Egyptian writing you may have seen elsewhere), but also most of the subsequent biblical texts.

Why is this important to us? By deciphering the earlieist languages, we bring enormous evidence for the existence of an AFTERLIFE. These ancient people described in symbols what their lifetime was like. They included GODS. Don’t worry Christians, there is an explanation.

See her web site, because it is amazing in its scope. It is : www.juliassante.com, and you can see how she can change the way we think about reality.

October 23rd, 2012, Tuesday at 7:00 PM: Dr. Mary Neal

Dr. Mary C. Neal

We met Dr. Mary Neal: Author, surgeon, near-death experiencer, TV personality on Dr. Oz, The Today, Show,  Fox & Friends, and others.

Dr. Neal appeared twice: first at 11:45  on Sunday Oct. 21st.  She also spoke as the South Bay IANDS  guest speaker on Tuesday October 23rd at 7:00 PM at our regular October meeting. Due to the high attendance, the evening meeting was held in the church. She recounted her encounter with the afterlife, and answered questions afterward.

Dr. Neal is taking time away from her busy orthopedic practice in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to speak at the IANDS chapters all over the US. Please read her qualifications below.

After taking her medical degree at UCLA School of Medicine, she trained there in general surgery before completing an orthopedic surgery residency at USC.  She went on to complete 3 fellowships in spinal surgery, trauma, and spine rehabilitation at highly respected hospitals in Sweden, Switzerland, and California. She was a director of spine surgery at the University of Southern California.  She, with her husband Bill and small children, eventually relocated to Jackson Hole, where they founded a spine surgery practice. She is committed to the causes of environmental stewardship, individual responsibility for making the world a better place, and increasing the awareness of God’s presence, love, and grace. She is an avid sportswoman, and along with her husband Bill and family, she takes outdoor vacations whenever possible. In 1999, during their kayaking trip to the Los Rios region of Southern Chile, tragedy struck when she drowned in the Rio Fuy.

Her book, To Heaven and Back, has been a New York Times best-seller for many weeks. Thanks for making Dr. Neal’s visit a memorable one.

August 28th, Tuesday at 7:00 PM: Sharon Lund

Sharon Lund

To say that Sharon Lund overcame life-obstacles is like saying the San Francisco Giants have an OK pitching staff.  We heard all about Sharon and what she has gone through to get to where she currently is. She overcame nine-years of sexual abuse as a child, anorexia, suicide attempts, destructive relationships, and has found blessings in each of her challenges. She has had two near-death experiences. Her first one was in 1984, due her second suicide attempt. After merging with the Light of God, she not only was given her life purpose to become a healer, teach around the world and write books, but also was led to her understanding the importance and beauty of preparation of transitioning from our life. Sharon now assists others in capturing their life story in their memorial or celebration of life. Please look at her beautiful web site here.

Tuesday July 24th at 7:00 PM – Kiki Corbin, N.D.

Kiki Corbin, N.D.

Kiki had 3 near-death experiences, all resulting in out-of-body experiences, and she communicated with the same spiritual being each time. She was sent back with the same admonition, each time: share your learning experiences from this side with everyone by writing a book.

Kiki Corbin has led a remarkable life. Born spiritually gifted, she was continuously aware when growing up of the “other side.” As a child she was drawn by a deep yearning to learn spiritual wisdom, to serve others, and to understand the meaning of life.

She has interviewed 20 others with similar experiences. She has lectured and conducted workshops, sharing her own story, the stories of others, and the wisdom gained from them, with many leaders in the field. “Near-death experiences are only a vehicle for a few messengers who got a peek on the other side.  I am passionate about average people increasing their daily experience of the Light, otherwise, these experiences are just something flashy. They need to be a message of how to live a greater life.”

Kiki is a mother, grandmother, an ordained minister, a 40-year meditator, , and the founder of the Montecito Community Church. She has worked as a pastoral counselor for 35 years and as a certified traditional naturopath for 10 years. She has led retreats, workshops, and classes in holistic healing, meditation, near-death experiences, transformational growth, and inner guidance, and has been a hospice volunteer. She lives in Lake Tahoe, where she continues in her mission to support others in having a happier, healthier, more spiritually awakened life.

Kiki has a private pastoral counseling practice  helping  people who have had near-death experiences and peak spiritual experiences integrate them into their lives. Skype allows her to “see” clients all around the world. Come and share an evening with Kiki and benefit from the wisdom imparted to her in the afterlife realm. She also has a book due out soon entitled The Gift of Light: Stories of Hope and Inspiration From Near-Death Experiences.

Roberta Grimes!

Thursday June 21st at 7:00 PM

Roberta Grimes

The successful attorney, afterlife researcher , and author, Roberta Grimes presented many of the results of her decades-long investigation of the afterlife. What does Heaven look like? What is the topology of Heaven? Is there a hell? What can we do here and now to influence where we end up in Heaven? Roberta can help us recognize where we are and where we are going to be. If you missed it, that’s OK.

SHE”LL BE BACK !!!

Her 1st book, “The Fun of Dying”, has been passed around the group for a few months now. If you still need a copy, you can find it here.

September 25, Tuesday 2012 – Janet Mayer

Janet Mayer

Tuesday September 25 at 7:00 PM

Janet Mayer is a psychic medium who has participated in a number of research projects to test and validate her abilities. She has passed vigorous tests by multiple organizations and is considered a “certified medium.” Janet is also on the Medium Advisory Board with the Forever Family Foundation.  Although there are many certified mediums such as Janet, the big difference is that I can personally attest to her accuracy. She has helped many families cope with the loss and grief of a loved one. I know some of them. Janet’s path sadly led her to abilities she did not want or know how to control. Luckily (or spiritually), she was transformed and gained a higher degree of understanding after spontaneously speaking Indigenous Amazonian languages. She has had many tapes translated as she continues to speak these languages and the journey continues. You’ll have to read it to believe it! (Or come to our meeting and listen to her share her story and be awed as she spontaneously channels the Brazilian languages.) www.JanetMayer.net
